Coding Done Where the Car Is Parked
The programming equipment travels with the technician and plugs into the car's own diagnostic port, so a lost key is normally sorted out in the bay where the vehicle is standing instead of on the back of a tow truck. Have the registration, the VIN off the windscreen or door frame, your ID and something showing the car is yours — we check that before cutting or coding anything.
